01Uganda
A regional hub
Uganda's own fields at Busia, Mubende and Buhweju produce steadily, but the country's bigger role is as the refining and export point for the region. Licensed Kampala refiners turn doré into bars, and the Mining and Minerals Act 2022 sets out clearly who may deal, refine and export.
We hold the dealer and export authorisations we need and work directly with licensed refiners, so we can buy doré in the field and ship refined metal from Entebbe.
02Uganda
What we buy
Doré and refined gold from licensed producers, dealers and refiners. Assay is done by an accredited laboratory and settlement is made in Kampala or offshore, whichever the seller prefers. Producers with steady output can take forward offtake with a pricing formula fixed in advance.
03Uganda
Mining partnerships
In Busia and Mubende we work with small-scale licence holders on better crushing and gravity circuits and on getting mercury out of the process. Our capital and their ground, with the metal coming to us under a written offtake.

01Do you buy gold that comes from outside Uganda?
Only when its origin is documented and lawful. Cross-border material gets enhanced due diligence and ICGLR certification where the source country requires it. Undocumented metal is never bought.
02Can you pay in Uganda?
Yes. Shillings or dollars through Ugandan banks, or offshore if you hold a foreign-currency account.
